Publishing

Why is it so hard to find a publisher? I understand that everything’s a business and they want novels that will make money. It seems you have to know people in the business to get into the business.

A little frustrating? Yes. A little annoying? You bet your sweet ass. There is so many good writers out there that don’t get chance. I went the self-publishing route and I am happy with my decision so far, but eventually I want a publisher seeing how they can get to markets I can’t.

I will keep putting out the books even if I never find a publisher to do it for me. And I hope all the independent writers out there doing the same keep at it. Do what you love, in my case it’s writing.

Revision

I am a revising machine. All is going well and I hope to have at least 40 pages to my editor in the next day. I really wish I could snap my fingers and have everything done. That would be awesome. I am in deep thought on how I want my cover to look and have come up with many ideas.

My best friend Sean Jersett is doing the my cover once again, seeing how he is always on the same page with me. It’s going to feel good to work on another story that has nothing to do with this one so when I do come back to Book III ( which I already started writing in my head) it will be like a new jump start. Comic book/ Graphic Novel

I am in talks with a person about making one of my stories into a comic or graphic novel. They request that it be on the dark side which I have no problem with. I hope to get him some story line in the next few weeks. I feel really good about doing this project and love how I can branch out into different things to push my writing forward. More to come!

Book II almost complete!

I am so close to completing book II of The Darkstone Chronicles.  My editor is eagerly awaiting my email as I put her off each day.  I am really excited and hope people that read the first one enjoy the second.  As I said before, I will not take a break but jump right into my next project.  It will be a change from now since the third book is on hold for the near future.  Go to http://www.facebook.com/DarkEmpyrean and like my page.  I would love to see more support.  More to come!

Blog Appearance

I am still pretty new to the whole blog world.  I want to change the appearance around a little but don’t know what to.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Is there something that you see that would help the flow better?  Ideas wanted!!

I am currently putting a packet together for an indie film company, which I see working out. I also am having a friend, the talented director Brian Holton, looking into making a book trailer for Book I. Book II is so near completion I can taste it. Then I will finish up Alexander which is almost half written and a few others. I have a lot of books on the brain, but just need time to complete them. I have atleast ten more books mapped out and ready to be started.
I really want to get into comic books or graphic novels. My art work for my up coming books will be done by Sean Jersett a very talented artist. I also will be getting into a horror collaboration which will be very interesting to write. More to come..

Book II Almost Complete

Well, book II is almost complete.  I am pass my deadline, but that’s okay.  I don’t want to rush it and have a bunch a crap written.  I will be taking a break from this series and will start working on my other novels as soon as this one is published.  I have a few lined up.  I even have a few that are about 1/4 done.  So there will be more from me rather people like my writing or not.  I do want fans but I do most of this for myself.  It’s just something I really enjoy so why stop.  I will try to post more often than I have been.  More to come!!
